
Stéphane E. Raynaud de Fitte started his professional occupations as a graphic designer, which led him to home design. He soon founded two compagnies in PR & communication industry before he became a broadcast journalist, producing, hosting and directing some radio shows with some French radio stations.
Mostly covering French and European politics and international relations, he also engaged his work to promote French-speaking cultures and to serve environmental causes, especially since he came back from the COP15 in Copenhagen in 2009.
Based in Washington, DC since 2012, he has switched in 2019 to a position in the administration, mostly focused on HR. Involved in the French community around Washington, DC, where he founded in 2014 DC French Film Festival, Inc. and the DC French Club, which is mostly composed by a French-speaking book club, a conversation club, a ciné-club and a game club, he also tutors French since 2013.
Having published his first novel in 1989, at the age of 12, and a few other collaborative works since then, he has long been an advocate of the promotion of French language and culture.
